Volunteer with UNC Health
The mission of the Volunteer Services Department is to assist UNC Health in its goals to provide comprehensive health care to the communities we serve and give a meaningful outlet for the human need to be of service to others. Our service areas include UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough Campus, and surrounding clinics. Volunteer with WakeMed
The Volunteer Services department supports placements at WakeMed Raleigh Campus, Cary Hospital, North Hospital and other WakeMed facilities throughout Wake and Johnston Counties. Here are just a few ways The Volunteers at WakeMed make a difference in the lives of patients, staff and our community. They contributed countless hours of service to patients, families and visitors in nearly 137 placement areas throughout the system. They provided huggables, blankets, afghans, surgical caps, shawls, dolls, quilts, baby caps, cancer items and other hand-made gifts to patients of all ages.
Volunteer with Duke Children's

As a volunteer at RMHC Triangle, you make a direct, immediate impact on children and families as they navigate medical crises.

THEF Chapter Service
Volunteer with your local ACHE chapter to make a difference in shaping healthcare leadership in your own community.
Mentorship Program
THEF hosts a 6 month mentorship program annually, accepting applications in the February timeframe. Visit the THEF Mentorship webpage to learn more.
Committee Participation
THEF administers a formal call for committee members annually in the fall. Committee members are not routinely added off-cycle to avoid disrupting established team structure and assignments. However, we do occasionally experience committee member attrition or take on unplanned initiatives and require additional manpower.
